DAILY GLOW: Smile

Did you know that by using only 26 tiny muscles in your face you could boost your raise your levels of endorphins, dopamine and serotonin, boost your immune system, alleviate stress and improve your mood? What is this exercise called? A Smile. Not only that, smiling is contagious! So by smiling at your husband, children, waitress, janitor or grumpy old man holding up the checkout line, you could actually boost their mood as well.

We never know what negative thoughts someone woke up with, how outcast someone feels at school, what bad news someone got at work, what storm they are facing at home, or perhaps just how exhausted and drained someone feels day in, day out (Toddler Mama’s I know you hear me!). The only light they might see today is that flash of your pearly whites. So be the light and smile.

Ask you kids at dinner? How many people did they smile at today? Who smiled the most? What were some of the people’s responses? How did it make them feel? I’d love to hear about any of your special moments! Let me know on the link below. Until tomorrow, go Glo4God!
